We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee our Housekeeping staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of housekeepers, ensuring that all cleaning duties are completed efficiently and to high standards. Key responsibilities include organizing staff schedules, training new team members, and conducting regular inspections to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility. The Team Leader will also be expected to communicate effectively with both staff and management to address any issues or concerns that may arise. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
  • Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
  • Assign tasks and schedules to team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of work.
  • Inspect rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Maintain records of cleaning activities, staff attendance, and any incidents that may occur.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide excellent service to guests.
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively delegate tasks and address any issues
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment used in housekeeping
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
