Job Description
The FSTD (Flight Simulation Training Device) Support Technical Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of flight simulators. This job requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to flight simulation equipment. The FSTD Support Technical Assistant will assist the Engineering team in performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring that all simulators are in optimal working condition. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on flight simulators.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to simulators.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of software updates.
- Monitor simulator performance and conduct performance tests.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of flight simulation equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used in flight simulation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
