As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring our guests receive the highest level of hospitality upon arrival and throughout their stay. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment, answering inquiries, and handling various guest-related tasks. We are seeking a personable, professional, and efficient individual who thrives on interaction and problem-solving. You will be responsible for managing reservations, checking guests in and out, and providing information about our services and local attractions. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and perform efficient check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Manage reservations and update database with guest information accurately.
  • Provide information about hotel services and local attractions to guests.
  • Handle guest requests and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Process payments and ensure billing information is correctly recorded.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding guest needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area at all times.
  • Handle luggage storage and delivery, ensuring the safekeeping of guest items.
  • Conduct nightly audits and prepare reports for management review.
  • Promote hotel services and amenities to encourage guest usage and satisfaction.
  • Assist with emergency procedures and safety protocols when required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar front desk or customer service role.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and reservation systems.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills for guest satisfaction.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
