Job Description

The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in steering the financial direction of an organization. This position involves developing and managing the organization's budgets, conducting financial analysis, and reporting to ensure the organization’s financial success and compliance. The Finance Manager will be integral in providing financial insights that support strategic planning and decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles and the ability to interpret and forecast financial trends. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for liaising with various departments to ensure financial operations align with overall corporate objectives. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders at all levels.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the organization’s financial plans and budgets.
  • Provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis of results.
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting, adhering to financial compliance standards.
  • Analyze and report on key financial data to assist in decision making.
  • Evaluate finance and accounting practices, and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions.
  • Supervise finance team members, including hiring, training, and professional development.
  • Oversee the audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the company’s financial health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required.
  • Proven financial management experience, with at least five years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency with financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a finance team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders.
