Job Description
The Electro-Hydraulic Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic equipment and systems. They will conduct inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and diagnose hydraulic malfunctions. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, motors, and valves.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve hydraulic malfunctions using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform hydraulic installations and modifications as required.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize system performance.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with new hydraulic technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certification in hydraulics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic components and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and diagrams.
