Director of Food And Beverage

The Director of Food and Beverage oversees all culinary and service operations within a hotel or hospitality establishment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional dining experiences, maintaining food quality standards, managing budgets, and leading a team of managers and staff. The role demands strategic planning, operational excellence, and deep industry knowledge to enhance guest satisfaction and drive profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all food and beverage operations, ensuring excellence in quality and service

• Develop and implement F&B strategies aligned with business goals

• Oversee menu planning, food presentation, and service procedures

• Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and cost controls

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards

• Monitor supplier relationships and procurement processes

• Recruit, train, and mentor culinary and service teams

• Analyze customer feedback to continuously improve offerings

• Coordinate with marketing for promotions and events

• Report performance metrics to senior management

Requirements:

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in F&B management, preferably in luxury hospitality

• Degree in Hospitality Management or related field

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and F&B operations

• Proven ability to manage budgets and improve profitability

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
