Civil Project Engineer (225-620)

As a Civil Project Engineer, you play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and execution of infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of projects aimed at building and maintaining roads, bridges, waterways, and other significant structures. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required safety and quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles as well as excellent project management skills. You will work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers, providing technical expertise and guidance to support the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Conduct site investigations to assess project requirements and constraints.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Oversee and coordinate project site activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Interpret and apply relevant engineering standards, codes, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred for this position.
• Minimum of five years of experience in civil engineering projects.
• Proficient in using civil engineering software and project management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for this role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
