Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and project requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials to specified dimensions.
• Assemble, install, and repair frameworks, fixtures, and structures of wood.
• Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform carpentry duties.
• Estimate, order, and transport materials required for each project.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while on site.
• Work closely with clients and other construction professionals for project success.
• Perform regular maintenance and repair work as required.
• Provide input and recommendations for carpentry solutions and improvements.

• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in all projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

• High school diploma; successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship is preferred.
