Job Description: Cafe Manager

A Cafe Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a cafe, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards. The Cafe Manager must have excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate various tasks and maintain a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise cafe staff including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Ensure high quality food and beverage service to customers.
• Implement marketing strategies to promote the cafe and increase sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe.
• Meet financial goals by controlling costs and increasing revenue.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve cafe operations.
• Create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in cafe or restaurant management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

• Work experience as a Cafe Manager or Barista
• Hands-on experience with professional coffee machines
• Good math skills
• Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Customer service attitude
• High school diploma
• Additional certification (e.g. in Business Administration or Hospitality) is a plus
