Buyer - Spare Parts (225-813)

We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Buyer specializing in spare parts to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing spare parts essential for the maintenance and repair of our equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of supply chain management, vendor relations, and cost analysis, as well as have a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong negotiation skills. As a Buyer, you will work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of equipment by maintaining a steady supply of parts, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing cost savings. Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing vendors.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure the best deals.

• Place orders for spare parts and track delivery timelines to ensure timely arrival.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing, specifically in spare parts procurement.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor relationship management.
• Proficiency in using purchasing software and inventory management systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and cost analysis.
