The Business Development Manager (Event Sponsorship) will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding the sponsorship portfolio for our events. This position requires a dynamic and results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the event sponsorship landscape. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building strong relationships and closing deals with sponsors across various industries. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new sponsorship opportunities, crafting partnership proposals, and negotiating contracts that align with our events' goals and deliver value to our sponsors. You will work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure the successful execution of sponsorship agreements. Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sponsorship opportunities for upcoming events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential sponsors.
  • Design tailored sponsorship proposals that align with our event goals and sponsor needs.
  • Negotiate sponsorship agreements and ensure mutual benefit for sponsors and the company.
  • Collaborate with marketing and event teams to integrate sponsor branding effectively.
  • Track and analyze sponsorship performance metrics to improve future strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify new industry trends and potential sponsors.
  • Attend industry events to network and represent the company to prospective sponsors.
  • Work with finance to ensure timely and accurate sponsor billing and payment processing.
  • Develop forecast reports for potential sponsorship revenue growth.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing collateral tailored for sponsorship acquisition.
  • Provide post-event reporting and feedback to sponsors to enhance future collaborations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sponsorship sales.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing sponsorship deals.
  • Strong understanding of event management and sponsorship landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software tools.
