The Assistant Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of warehouse activities. This position requires a dynamic leader capable of managing daily operations while supporting the Warehouse Manager in strategizing and implementing new processes to optimize productivity. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all warehouse operations and activities effectively.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Coordinate with logistics, inventory team, and vendors for seamless operations.
  • Train and develop staff to enhance skills and improve productivity.
  • Monitor and improve warehouse workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and recommend improvements.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in shipping and receiving.
  • Oversee the maintenance and proper operation of all warehouse equipment.
  • Lead regular team meetings to communicate objectives and improve morale.
  • Plan and implement strategies to optimize storage space and logistics routes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or supervision.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles essential.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills necessary.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite needed.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff and leadership.
