Aircraft Cabin Technician

Position Overview

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Cabin Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, cleaning, and repairing aircraft interiors including seats, panels, and cabin furnishings. This position requires strict adherence to safety standards, maintenance procedures, and company regulations to ensure every aircraft we service meets the highest levels of comfort, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair aircraft seats, panels, and other interior components in accordance with approved documentation and AMMs
• Perform inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of cabin furnishings and equipment
• Follow company, airport, and health and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain a FOD-free working area and ensure workspaces are cleaned before and after use
• Prepare required materials, parts, tools, and documentation before each shift
• Return unused items to stores with proper labeling and documentation
• Keep all tools and equipment in clean, serviceable, and safe condition
• Ensure all items removed from stores are correctly labeled prior to delivery to the aircraft
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and management
• Stay current with all technical and quality notices and safety bulletins
• Participate in training and development to enhance skills and professional growth
• Support the Safety & Quality Management Plan (SQMP) through active participation and compliance
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Completion of a formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within an aircraft maintenance environment
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Cabin Technician
• Proficient in reading and interpreting manufacturers’ drawings, SRMs, and AMMs
• Must meet all qualifying criteria for required security clearances
• Strong understanding of safety practices and maintenance procedures
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and shifting operational demands
