Job Description

As an Advertising Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in generating revenue for our advertising division. You will be tasked with establishing and maintaining impactful relationships with both new and existing clients, driving sales of advertising space across various media platforms. Your primary objective will be to understand clients' advertising needs and propose appropriate solutions to help them reach their target audience effectively. By utilizing your stellar communication skills and in-depth product knowledge, you will craft persuasive sales presentations and negotiate contracts that meet and exceed sales targets. Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential clients to discuss their advertising needs and budget.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct research to identify new sales leads and develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Present advertising solutions to clients in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the creative and production teams to deliver client expectations.
  • Prepare regular sales reports detailing sales activities and client interactions.
  • Attend networking events and industry conferences to promote our advertising services.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to anticipate changes and challenges.
  • Provide clients with detailed proposals and timely responses to queries.
  • Ensure client advertising campaigns are delivered on time and meet agreed specifications.
  • Offer post-sale support and resolve any client issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in advertising sales or related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure profitable sales contracts effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.
