Ensure contract management activities align with the project contract and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential contract-related risks.
Ensure project management staff is fully aware of their contractual obligations and impacts.
.Negotiate directly with the EPC contractor to resolve contractual issues and ensure compliance with contract terms And PPA .
manage the events: notifications, changes, contract communication and documentation
Review and analyze contractual documents to identify risks and opportunities to optimize project value and secure delivery from EPC Contractor.
Advise on contractual implications of proposed changes and ensure any contractual changes resulting from change requests are drafted and approved by relevant parties.
Promote SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) procedures and guidelines in contract management.
Promote and integrate sustainability practices within contract management processes.
.Maintain effective monitoring and reporting systems for contract compliance Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures for contract-related issues.
Monitor and support claims management from ENGIE, the offtaker, and the contractor side.
Ensure the arrangement and administration of all project bonds, guarantees, and insurances in accordance with contractual obligations.
Monitor contracts execution against identified KPIs: deliverables, milestones, contract commitments, claims, and performance.
Support the collection and sharing of "Return of Experience" (REX) / Lessons Learned.
Ensure contract management tasks are scheduled without interfering with project goals.
Develop and implement plans and procedures for contract administration and compliance.
Decision Making:
Act independently to prioritize, initiate, resolve, and complete contract management actions.
Seek, organize, and exchange information for decision making and problem solving in contract management.
Provide CFO with contract performance reports and recommendations for modifications.
.Assist and advise in the implementation of improvement and mitigation actions following incident investigations.
Coordinate and control relations with the Owner, Off-Taker, Govt. Authorities, Contractors, and other stakeholders.
Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Foster a climate of open communication on personal and professional issues.
Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community and other external stakeholders.
Liaise with the Project Company CEO, Construction Director, the Owners Engineer, and the legal team to review and provide inputs to critical contractual correspondences.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management in a construction environment, preferably in power plants or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Proven experience in management of international industrial projects (including on-site).
Knowledge and Skills:
High Proficiency in English (verbal and written), Arabic desirable but not essential
In-depth understanding of contract management practices and procedures.
Proficiency in technical aspects of contract administration and compliance.
Knowledge of main database platforms, including MS Office.
Understanding of joint venture operations within a multinational business environment.
Experience in dealing with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a diverse contract management team.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying information clearly and concisely at all levels.
Ability to identify issues, analyze problems, and implement effective solutions.
Competence in making informed and timely decisions.
Proficiency in planning, executing, and overseeing contract management projects to ensure timely delivery.
Strong analytical skills to assess contract performance data and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple priorities.
Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and integrity.
