A Telesales Executive is a vital component of a company's sales department, responsible for engaging with potential and existing customers over the phone to drive sales and develop relationships. Responsibilities

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about products and services.
  • Answer questions about products or the company to foster customer relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, sales, and customer information in databases.
  • Understand and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets consistently.
  • Generate and qualify leads through cold calling and follow-up calls.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge about the products and services offered by the company.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open communication.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better sales results and maximize productivity.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products when appropriate, based on customer requirements and demands.
  • Participate in team meetings and share best practices with colleagues to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve telesales techniques and scripts for better performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.
  • Track record of successfully meeting sales quotas over the phone.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and clearly describe/explain them to customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in CRM software and telecommunication systems.
  • High school diploma; a bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
