Job Description

As a Software Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of our mission to deliver cutting-edge software solutions to our targeted clientele. You will be responsible for driving sales growth by understanding the needs of our customers and aligning them with our software offerings. Your role is essential in establishing trusting relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring they receive unparalleled service and support throughout the sales process. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the software market.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to maximize client retention.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to effectively showcase the benefits of our software solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while satisfying client needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies and promotional activities.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales results.
  • Offer exceptional after-sales support to address customer queries and concerns promptly.
  • Prepare regular reports to upper management detailing sales trends and results.
  • Attend industry trade shows and networking events to establish professional connections.
  • Provide customer feedback to the product team to assist in future software developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven track record in software sales with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of software industry trends and market conditions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with diverse clients effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new sales opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
