Senior Engineer - Construction Electrical

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Construction Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The role involves leading and supervising electrical construction work at site, ensuring that all installations are done safely, correctly, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical construction activities on oil and gas projects (e.g., substations, cable trays, lighting, grounding, etc.).
• Review and ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Monitor work progress and report on schedule and quality.
• Resolve technical issues during construction.
• Ensure all electrical work follows HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards.
• Participate in inspections and testing (e.g., loop checks, continuity testing, insulation resistance).
• Support commissioning team as required.
• Maintain construction records and prepare daily/weekly reports.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in oil and gas construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of international electrical standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
• Good understanding of hazardous area classifications and ATEX/Ex equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in remote locations or site-based assignments.
