Senior Civil Designer

Job Description

We are currently seeking Senior Civil Designers, reporting directly to Civil - Head of the Department to join our Civil team based in UAE - Abu Dhabi.

About the mission we offer you:

• Develop detailed civil design drawings and plans for oil and gas infrastructure projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, roads, and foundations.
• Collaborate with engineers and other design professionals to ensure designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify design drawings and models.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and evaluate existing conditions.
• Prepare and review design documentation, including calculations, reports, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize project outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the design process.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance design efficiency and effectiveness.

About you:

We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

Qualifications: Certificate/diploma in Civil Engineering

Languages: English + proficiency level (Basic, Professional, Fluent)

Main skills: 1. Should have a minimum 14 years of experience in oil/gas onshore and offshore facilities.

• Should have at least 8 years of working experience in 3D environment using PDMS or SP3D software.
• Must have working knowledge of E3D and SP3D software.
• Other software like AutoCAD, MicroStation etc. is required.
• Experience in field engineering activities will be an added advantage
