Job Description

As a Sales Executive in the Freight Forwarding industry, you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base. Your keen understanding of logistics and keen commercial sense will place you at the forefront of initiating contact with prospective clients, delivering customized logistics solutions that meet their specific needs. Your role demands a deep commitment to customer satisfaction, as you'll be required to nurture relationships with existing clients and build strong partnerships with new ones. By staying abreast of industry trends and competitors, you will play a pivotal role in strategizing and implementing business development plans that ensure the company meets its sales objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market trends and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets.
  • Conduct client meetings to present our freight forwarding solutions and services.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with partners and customers.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals that provide value to the client.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure profitable business deals.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management to boost strategic planning.
  • Respond to client inquiries and resolve any conflicts or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote company services.
  • Stay informed of competitors' offerings and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Utilize CRM software to track client interactions and sales progress efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, ideally in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations and supply chain management.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales productivity software.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while actively contributing to team efforts.
