Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in the healthcare system, providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients. Your expertise will be pivotal in assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care, ensuring the dignity and well-being of patients are upheld at all times. As an RN, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, all while adhering to ethical, legal, and professional standards. Responsibilities

  • Assess and record patients’ health needs and concerns consistently and accurately.
  • Develop and implement personalized nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely, following all healthcare regulations and guidelines.
  • Monitor, record, and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the medical team promptly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver integrated patient care successfully.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
  • Supervise nursing assistants and other support staff to maintain efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed patient reports and records for continued care continuity.
  • Ensure infection control and all necessary practices are strictly followed in healthcare settings.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and attend relevant training sessions.
  • Support patient advocacy efforts and respect patients’ rights and individuality.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license to practice.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of two years of nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare technologies and electronic medical records systems.
  • Commitment to adhering to ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in nursing practice.
