Job Description

A Project Administrator is a vital asset in ensuring the successful delivery of projects within an organization. This role involves a combination of administrative tasks and project management support to ensure smooth operations. The Project Administrator works closely with project managers and team members to assist with project planning, execution, and monitoring. Their primary focus is to provide administrative support, manage project documentation, and facilitate communication between stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and have a knack for multitasking. A proactive and detail-oriented nature is essential in helping to achieve project objectives and maintaining efficient workflows.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage and maintain comprehensive project documentation and project plans.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, schedules, and budgets.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders and team members.
  • Monitor project progress and compile reports for project performance metrics.
  • Arrange meetings, including logistics, agendas, and recording meeting minutes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and project management procedures.
  • Support the resolution of project-related issues by coordinating with relevant parties.
  • Maintain and update project management tools and software applications.
  • Assist with the procurement of project materials and managing supplier relationships.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to enhance project decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate with financial teams to ensure proper project accounting and billing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a project coordination or administrative role is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Trello preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are required.
