Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in developing detailed interior design concepts for projects.
• Collaborate with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget requirements.
• Participate in site visits to understand spatial dimensions and design possibilities.
• Prepare mood boards and sample materials for client presentations and approvals.
• Create and modify 3D visualizations and renderings to illustrate design concepts clearly.
• Select and specify materials, furniture, and fixtures that meet project criteria.
• Maintain an organized archive of materials and specifications for future reference.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely material orders.
• Support the senior team in monitoring project phases to ensure timelines are met.
• Assist in the preparation of technical drawings and documentation for fit-out execution.
• Liaise with contractors and site supervisors to relay design details and expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, sustainably sourced materials, and new design technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is essential.
• Proven experience in joinery and fit-out within the interior design industry preferred.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients and teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture, with experience in sourcing sustainable options.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
