Data Analyst (225-813)

As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports for the company. You will lead the data-driven decision-making process by utilizing your skills and knowledge to help identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Your role will involve collaborating with different departments to ensure data quality and accuracy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data collection systems, as well as analytics for industry-leading insights that move the business forward. You must be adept at using a range of data analysis tools and have a natural inclination for solving problems using quantitative data.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities to optimize existing systems.
• Collaborate with IT and operation teams to ensure database architecture is aligned.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources, maintaining complete and accurate records.
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators.
• Prepare quality reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decisions.
• Continually optimize and automate processes, making predictions that enhance endeavor success.
• Support departmental teams with integrating data analytics in business development strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and data protection regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and databases.
• Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings in a clear manner.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, or R is preferred.
