As a Guest Service Agent, you will serve as the first point of contact for our esteemed guests, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional attention and client care. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and hospitable environment in line with the highest hospitality standards. Our ideal candidate possesses outstanding interpersonal skills, a dedication to customer service, and the ability to handle enquiries and issues with poise and efficiency. You will not only assist guests with the check-in and check-out process but also play an integral role in promoting the amenities of our establishment. Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and assist with check-in procedures efficiently and courteously.
  • Provide comprehensive information about hotel services, facilities, and amenities to guests.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests.
  • Coordinate guest services with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Facilitate seamless experiences in guest reservation booking, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Document guest feedback and communicate any issues to the management team promptly.
  • Process guest payments smoothly, handling cash, credit transactions, and billing queries.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest stays, preferences, and personal data securely.
  • Ensure the lobby and front desk areas are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
  • Assist in the promotion and sales of hotel packages and services to enhance guest experience.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest standard of guest service delivery.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in all guest interactions at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in guest service roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and standard office software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of handling stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality certifications are advantageous.
