Context

Under the general supervision of the Project Management, the Document Controller will provide assistance and support in maintaining all the documents and drawings related to the project.

Missions/Main Duties

  • Maintain an organized document control system for technical drawings, reports, specifications and project records.
  • Ensure that all documents are correctly categorized, stored, and retrievable as per project requirements.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and regulatory bodies for document submissions and approvals.
  • Collect and register all technical documents in the company’s system.
  • Review and update documents for maintenance and quality control.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies for document submissions and approvals.
  • Maintain both digital and hard copy records as per company procedures.
  • Follow the submission protocols within the Company’s system as well as with the clients.

Profile/Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering or related field
  • Background:
    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in document control in similar industry.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recording.
    • Preferences for candidates who can join immediately.
    • Currently in Abu Dhabi, UAE or ready to relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE.
