Speech Therapist (225-713)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Therapist to join our team and provide specialized therapy sessions for individuals with communication and speech disorders. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions and creating tailored treatment plans to address their specific needs. You will work closely with patients of all ages, from children to adults, helping them improve their speech, language, and communication skills. Your role will involve collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for each patient. Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in patients.
• Develop customized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Provide education and support to families on techniques for promoting communication skills.
• Maintain detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in speech therapy techniques.
• Educate patients on exercises and strategies to continue improvement outside of therapy.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
• Prepare reports and presentations as needed to communicate patient progress to stakeholders.
• Advocate for patients' needs in multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent accredited program required.
• Strong understanding of speech and language assessment and intervention techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for working with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to create personalized and effective treatment plans based on individual assessments.
• Experience with a diverse range of speech and language disorders preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Compassionate approach and dedication to improving patient communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple patients and documentation requirements.
