Job Description

The role of a Fleet Sales Manager is critical within the automotive industry as it revolves around driving the growth and profitability of a company's fleet sales operations. This position requires a strategic thinker who can develop and implement sales strategies to attract and maintain corporate fleet accounts. A Fleet Sales Manager must have an in-depth understanding of vehicles, financing, leasing options, and market dynamics to effectively meet the needs of fleet customers. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate fleet sales goals.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities for fleet sales growth and expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of fleet sales agreements to optimize profit margins.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotions that increase fleet sales visibility.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery.
  • Regularly review and report on the fleet sales performance and market competition.
  • Provide training and support to sales team members to enhance their performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in fleet sales transactions.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all automotive products and services offered by the company.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to structure appealing financing and leasing options.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales management, specifically within the automotive industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data effectively.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and objectives efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for daily tasks.
  • Deep understanding of the automotive market and fleet management fundamentals.
