Job Description

The Commercial Account Executive is a key player within our sales team, specializing in overseeing a portfolio of clients and guiding them through targeted business solutions. This position is integral in driving revenue by not only acquiring new commercial clients but also maintaining and growing existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales with a focus on commercial products or services. They will possess excellent negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the commercial market, and the ability to foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders. This role demands proactive engagement with clients to understand their needs and align them with our offerings, ensuring shared success and satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with prospective clients.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing commercial clients for business retention.
  • Provide comprehensive product or service recommendations tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct regular check-in meetings and reviews with key account stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted promotional campaigns.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales proposals and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to close sales deals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business threats or opportunities.
  • Report sales metrics and forecasts to senior management on a regular basis.
  • Manage internal resources effectively to deliver quality service to clients.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a commercial sales role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast sales and identify opportunities.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
