Job Description

Parsons is looking for a talented Aviation Program Director to join our team! In this leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of complex, large-scale aviation programs, providing strategic direction from concept through completion. You will be responsible for the overall coordination, execution, and successful delivery of major aviation infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of leading programs involving international airports, passenger terminals, runways, and related aviation facilities.

What Youll Be Doing

• Provides leadership, direction, and management for every phase of the project, ensuring on- schedule completion within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Acts as the company representative with Client Senior Management and other delivery partners during the project execution and the focal point of contact.
• Develops Client strategic objectives and acts promptly to resolve contentions with the Clients and Stakeholders.
• Responsible for the development of implementation plans, risk management plans, quality plans, delivery partner plans, contract templates and overall program goals.
• Responsible for the overall delivery and execution of the program including safety, quality, and Parsons staff performance.
• Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client.
• Manages Program budgets, procurement strategies and cashflow.
  
  
  

What Required Skills Youll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline is required.
• Master’s degree (MSc) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 25 years of progressive experience in delivering large-scale aviation and infrastructure programs.
• Project Management or Construction Management certification or registration.
• In-depth understanding of international aviation regulations, safety standards, and procurement practices.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including experience preparing and delivering presentations and reports at the executive (C-suite) level.
• Proven track record in senior executive roles overseeing the successful delivery of major airport and infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience working in the GCC region is highly valued.

• Understanding of budget development and cost accounting.
• Ability to manage and encourage a team of project and construction management professionals.
• Ability to interface with all levels with project team, client, and others.
• Knowledge of construction contract negotiation and administration.
• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of support function problems.
