Flint Culture is seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Director to join its Abu Dhabi office, playing a central role in driving the company’s growth and expanding its networks across diverse sectors, including arts and heritage, cultural tourism, sustainability, finance, and women’s rights. In this role, you will lead strategic communications initiatives, manage key client relationships, and collaborate closely with the office director to spearhead new business development. Success in this role requires deep knowledge of the UAE’s cultural, social, and business landscape, as well as the ability to design campaigns that resonate with local, regional, and international audiences while aligning global trends with local values.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Campaign Management
Lead strategic communications campaigns across cultural sectors, including media, digital, and stakeholder engagement.
Manage client relationships, campaign budgets, and key partner/stakeholder coordination.
Oversee creation of campaign materials, press trips, and client events.
Advise clients on digital strategy, content, and influencer engagement.
Team Leadership
Lead multi-person teams, delegate effectively, and foster a collaborative environment.
Implement best practices and optimize processes across projects.
Line manage and mentor junior team members.
New Business & Networking
Build senior-level relationships with government, industry influencers, and stakeholders to create opportunities.
Identify and pursue emerging business trends and market opportunities.
Develop, pitch, and present compelling client proposals.
Attend industry events to expand networks and reinforce Flint Culture’s presence in the region.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Extensive experience in communications/PR, ideally within creative industries.
Deep understanding of UAE and Middle Eastern cultural and business landscapes.
Proven business development and client relationship skills.
Expertise in campaign strategy, digital integration, and media relations.
Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring capabilities.
Excellent communication, copywriting, and organisational skills.
Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate in diverse teams.
Proactive, results-driven, and committed to continuous learning and development.
