Responsibilities

• Organize, supervise, and referee during sports events, competitions, and school sports days.

• Provide clear instructions and demonstrations when introducing new sports techniques or activities.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress to ensure continuous physical skill development.
• Coordinate with school staff and parents regarding students’ physical education programs and needs.
• Encourage a positive attitude towards maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular physical activities.
• Adapt lessons to suit students with differing abilities, ensuring inclusivity in sports activities.
• Maintain and assess sports equipment to ensure it is safe and suitable for student use.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field is mandatory.
• State teaching certification or relevant qualifications in sports will be highly regarded.
• Proven experience as a sports teacher or related role in an educational environment.
• Strong knowledge of sports education methods and K-12 physical education curriculum.
• Ability to teach a variety of sports and physical activities effectively and safely.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
• First aid certification and knowledge of injury prevention and management techniques.
