Job Description

The HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing compensation and benefits programs, ensuring that they align with company goals and statutory requirements. This role involves managing various HR operations processes, including payroll administration, benefits enrollment, and compliance with labor laws. The specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve HR systems, analyze compensation data, and enhance employee satisfaction through effective benefits offerings. This position requires a deep understanding of compensation strategies, labor market trends, and benefits management. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with employees and management.


Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the company's compensation and benefits programs effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to process and reconcile payroll.
  • Analyze compensation surveys and benchmarking data to remain competitive in the market.
  • Evaluate and recommend benefit packages that meet employee needs and company objectives.
  • Manage relationships with third-party benefits providers and vendors efficiently.
  • Design and implement employee communication strategies regarding benefits updates.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of HR systems for efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed reports on compensation trends and present findings to management.
  • Conduct job evaluations and classify job positions for salary structures.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits promptly and accurately.
  • Participate in special projects related to HR operations as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR operations and compensation management.
  • Strong understanding of compensation strategies, benefits management, and market analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills and aptitude for detailed financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems and payroll software applications.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate compensation insights to stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
