Job Description

As a Pre-Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of young children during their formative years. Your primary goal will be to foster a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and develop essential social and academic skills. You will utilize age-appropriate teaching strategies, materials, and activities to facilitate children's cognitive, emotional, and physical development. By collaborating with parents and other educators, you will ensure a cohesive educational journey that caters to individual learning styles and needs. Your passion for early childhood education, patience, and creativity will be crucial in delivering a curriculum that inspires curiosity and a love for learning among young students.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement effective lesson plans tailored for pre-primary education.
  • Create a nurturing and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Encourage creativity and artistic expression through various activities and crafts.
  • Assess each child's developmental needs and implement individualized strategies.
  • Foster cooperative interaction among children through guidance and team activities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on children’s progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
  • Develop classroom management techniques to ensure an orderly learning space.
  • Instruct students in basic hygiene and social interaction skills.
  • Integrate technology and resources to enhance learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants for enhanced instructional support.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or licensure for pre-primary education.
  • Prior experience teaching young children is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with parents and staff.
  • Ability to create a warm and engaging classroom environment.
  • Adept at using educational technology and multimedia resources.
  • Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about early childhood education.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
