Position Overview:

As a Product Owner, you will be part of our growing India team, while collaborating with the Product Management department based in Sweden. You will be a key player in our Tools team which develops intuitive, high impact tools for our partners to design, configure, and commission AGV & AMR systems. Your mission is to maximize the value of the product resulting from the team’s work. You will ensure that product development aligns with the company’s overall strategy and vision and that it aligns with the user’s needs. The users often have different roles within our customer base of vehicle builders and integrators that are involved in designing and commissioning AMR and AGV systems. By creating, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog, you will reflect the needs and priorities of these stakeholders while supporting the team in delivering customer value with a sense of urgency.

This position requires a deep technical understanding, a business mindset and previous experience developing or managing complex technical products, preferably industrial software with modular components and an agile development process.

What does success look like in this position:

• Effective Backlog management: Break down epics into features, prioritize them based on stakeholder input, and maintain a clear actionable backlog that guides the team’s development. The feature creation is usually done together with developers, UX designers and architects to ensure feasibility within the right time frame and good usability and synched with Product Managers to ensure profitability.
• Balanced Product Development: Ensure a healthy balance delivering new customer-facing features, investing in architectural improvements, and exploring emerging technologies to future-proof the products.
• Customer Value Focus: Deliver meaningful product outcomes by incorporating customer insights and business needs, while enabling the team to focus on technical execution.
• Strategy Alignment: Align product decisions and backlog priorities with company strategy and the broader product portfolio vision.
• Transparent Communication: Shares priorities, progress, and decision openly across teams and stakeholders to foster alignment and trust.
  
  

To achieve the mission and success of this position, we believe you already have:

• An academic degree in Engineering physics, Software engineering, IT management or similar  
• 4+ experience as Product Owner for software products
• Experience of working in the SAFe framework
• Experience of managing customer interaction
• Excellent communication skills in English and passionate about stakeholder management
