The Opportunity ...
The Service Business Analyst reports to Regional Service Excellence Manager. The Service Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving business analytics, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives across the APAC region. This role supports the regional service strategy by delivering actionable insights, managing key performance indicators (KPIs), and leading cross-functional projects that enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze service performance metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for regional leadership and global stakeholders.
- Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and resource planning.
- Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with service teams to streamline processes and improve operational workflows.
- Monitor and report on service KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Data Management & Data Integrity
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of service-related data across systems and reports.
- Maintain data governance standards and support data quality initiatives across the region.
- Collaborate with IT and global data teams to resolve data discrepancies and implement data validation processes.
- Support master data management efforts and contribute to the development of data policies and procedures.
- Project Management
- Lead or support regional service projects, including system implementations, process redesigns, and change management initiatives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, Sales, Finance, and Global Service Operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a liaison between regional service teams and global business units.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
- Support training and communication efforts related to new tools, processes, or initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, service operations, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., JDE, SAP, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, regional environment.
Preferred Attributes:
- Knowledge of service operations in the APAC region.
- Experience in a multinational or matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
