At Danfoss Power Electronics & Drives, we are excited to invite a talented Engineer Motor Control Software to join our forward-thinking Product Development team. We are searching for a motivated and skilled professional to design, develop, and enhance state-of-the-art embedded systems. Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Design, develop, and test software modules for motor-oriented controllers.
  • Take ownership of technical solutions related to motor control software.
  • Drive new feature development and enhancements for inverter motor control systems.
  • Estimate development efforts and participate in feature and requirement reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with development processes and effective use of engineering tool
  • Lead and coordinate embedded software development activities across the project lifecycle, including key architectural and configuration decisions.
  • Design embedded software modules and subsystems that align with project objectives and performance targets.
  • Collaborate as part of a global development team focused on embedded solutions for Danfoss Drives.

Background & Skills
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess The Following
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in embedded field.
  • At least 2 years of experience required in leading large design efforts and coordinating project teams.
  • Expertise in embedded C programming and debugging tools.
  • Experience in developing embedded software for various micro controllers.
  • Experience in control of power electronics (PID controls, V/F, FOC, DTC, PWM different control loops)
  • Experience in Digital Signal Processors covering Sample and Hold registers, Analog to Digital Converters (ADC), Analog comparators, High-Resolution Pulse Width Modulator (HRPWM) module, Event managers and QEP’s
  • Knowledge of digital signaling processing including continues and discrete time signals and equations
  • Proficiency with software rapid prototyping tools such as Matlab/Simulink tools and familiarity with SIL, MIL, PIL, HIL methodologies
  • Experience in detailed analysis, feasibility studies, performance analysis and prototyping, and use of different protocol analyzer tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
