Job Description

This is a permanent role with a valued client of e-Hireo.

About Role

• You will be responsible for end to end for the Android system software.
• Communicate with the 3rd party vendors along with meetings to align on the activities for the platform layer.
• Working closely with engineering, design, and hardware teams to flesh out solutions and POC’s.
• Working with program team to ensure planning is accurate and provide high predictability.
• Partner management for solutions that require collaboration with external vendors/teams.
• Linux Kernel, Android FW and/or App/UX benchmarking & optimizations for better user experience.
  
  

• Bachelors/master’s in computer science/Electronics or any other equivalent degree.
• 5 to 8 Years of Android/Embedded Platform experience.
• Knowledge and experience with the Android FW, Linux Kernel, device drivers, device tree and its customizations.
• Strong sense of system architecture as it relates to mobile apps.
• Experience in diverse areas that impact Android device and application/UX performance.
• Knowledge on web view customization, 3D rendering, animations experience is an added advantage.
• Strong Coding knowledge with Java, Kotlin, Android studio.
• Well versed with object-oriented analysis & design, design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
• Strong problem analysis and debugging skills with passion for innovation and a drive to create impactful software solutions.
• Proven track record in delivering consumer-focused software experiences.
• Experience using Android performance tools.
• Working experience with Git/Jira.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their application in software development.
• Build environments such as buildroot, yocto, docker, etc.
