You will join our Finance Team, consisting of approximately 25 highly skilled employees. We engage and interact with a variety of stakeholders on all levels in the organization. Regardless of which of these many stakeholders we face, our commitment is to take a wingman position; ensuring smooth financial processes to support the business in daily operations, Identifying and mitigating financial risks and ensuring compliance with regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance principles.

The role will include a close dialogue with the Finance team, where you will work as a team of 6 ensuring frequent feedback and knowledge sharing, but a lot of responsibility will be delegated leaving you with a high degree of independence.

How You Might Spend Your Days

As a Accountant, youll be working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team where your daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Oversee the end-to-end AP process, including invoice verification, coding, approval workflows, and payment processing.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of AP transactions, including proper documentation and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement and finance teams, to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on AP and GST-related metrics for management review.
• Provide timely assistance to employees in accurately completing their time cards and ensure the weekly posting of time card entries.
• Continuously evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements and automation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, and financial analysis.
  
  
  

To apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience within accounting area
• Proven experience as a Accountant or similar role, with expertise in accounts payable, experience handing GST and TDS compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Good knowledge in Excel
