Job Description

A Supply Chain Planner plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the flow of goods and information from the point of origin to the point of consumption. This professional is essential in ensuring that operations within the supply chain are carried out efficiently and economically. In this position, you will work closely with departments such as procurement, production, inventory management, and sales to ensure that supply and demand are effectively balanced at all times. By analyzing data and trends, you will help shape the supply chain strategies to meet organizational goals, improve service levels, reduce cost, and enhance customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed reports for management to support strategic decisions.
  • Utilize supply chain software to plan and track shipments efficiently.
  • Lead initiatives to improve supply chain sustainability and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a supply chain planning or related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain software tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with teams.
  • Experience in negotiation and managing vendor relationships successfully.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
