Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings of MEP and civil systems using CAD software.

• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers or lead engineers.
• Ensure compliance with industry, company, and safety standards in all designs.
• Create and maintain drawing documentation, including revisions and version control.
• Assist in estimating material quantities and coordinating with procurement teams.
• Utilize knowledge of engineering principles to solve design and construction challenges.
• Conduct site visits to verify design specifications and gather necessary data.
• Update and develop drawing templates to improve overall drafting efficiency.
• Coordinate with other draftsmen to align on design standards and procedures.
• Research and implement new design software updates and drafting methodologies.
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights on drafting and design progress.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs.
• Strong understanding of MEP and civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to interpret and analyze engineering and architectural diagrams.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with engineers, architects, and project teams.
• Previous experience in a drafting role within the construction or engineering sectors is preferred.
