Job Description

The Sales Support role is a crucial component of any successful sales team, providing the backbone of assistance that allows sales professionals to focus on their primary objectives: selling and closing deals. As a Sales Support specialist, you will be responsible for improving the productivity and efficiency of the sales team by managing administrative tasks, handling customer inquiries, and creating effective communication channels between sales representatives and various departments. You will act as the first point of contact for the sales team, ensuring that all necessary resources and information are readily available so that sales processes are seamless and effective. This role requires a combination of organizational skills, customer service expertise, and a keen understanding of sales operations. Working closely with sales personnel, you will have the ability to influence the growth of the business by streamlining processes and enhancing the overall customer experience.


Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient sales operations and processes.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives to prepare and distribute sales documentation.
  • Manage customer accounts and update records to maintain accurate data entry.
  • Handle customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner to assure satisfaction.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and marketing materials.
  • Monitor and track sales activities and performance reports on a regular basis.
  • Facilitate communication between sales team and other departments for seamless operations.
  • Schedule and organize client meetings, sales appointments, and team meetings.
  • Support the sales team with order processing and troubleshooting sales-related issues.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and targets.
  • Assist in training new sales personnel on company products and services.
  • Collaborate with team members to propose improvements for the sales support process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a sales support or customer service role is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities considered essential for success.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while keeping attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales management tools.
  • A positive attitude and inherent problem-solving skills to assist the sales team.
