Job Description

A Telesales Executive plays a crucial role in driving sales by reaching out to potential customers over the phone to promote products and services. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer focus, and the ability to work independently to meet sales targets. Telesales Executives must be proficient at building rapport quickly, handling rejection gracefully, and adapting sales techniques to suit varying customer needs. Working in this role involves identifying sales opportunities, educating potential customers about the benefits of a product or service, and converting leads into sales. Responsibilities

  • Contact potential customers via phone to promote the company's products or services.
  • Develop and maintain a database of prospective clients to target for sales.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide detailed information about company offerings.
  • Achieve individual sales targets set by management on a regular basis.
  • Effectively manage objections and negotiate terms to close sales transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve sales strategies and efficiency.
  • Record customer interactions and update sales records with detailed notes.
  • Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Provide feedback to management about customer responses and market trends.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors’ offerings to better position the company's solutions.
  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly.
  • Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of potential clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a similar telesales role.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and an engaging telephone manner.
  • Strong persuasive skills with the ability to handle objections effectively.
  • Ability to achieve targets under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications and customer relationship management software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in marketing would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet sales targets and customer demands.
