About the Role:
As a
Key Account Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key merchant accounts. You will act as the primary point of contact for your accounts, driving adoption of Tabby’s products, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and collaborating across internal teams to deliver the best solutions for our partners. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, is highly data-driven, and has a passion for building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Own and manage a portfolio of key merchant accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Relationship Building: Develop trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders at all levels within client organizations.
- Growth & Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand product adoption, cross-sell and upsell Tabby solutions, and drive incremental revenue.
- Negotiation & Persuasion: Lead commercial conversations with merchants, influence decision-makers, and negotiate terms to create win-win outcomes.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze account performance data, uncover trends, and provide actionable insights to both internal teams and clients.
- Problem Solving: Act as the go-to resource for client challenges, escalating issues as needed and driving resolution quickly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, operations, marketing, and commercial teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Strategic Execution: Support the development and execution of account strategies that align with Tabby’s business objectives.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, or client success roles, ideally within e-commerce, fintech, or high-growth startups.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to identify opportunities and execute growth initiatives.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with data, analyzing trends, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Ownership & Drive: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work under pressure, and deliver results with a sense of urgency.
- Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across multiple departments.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Arabic.
- Mindset: Gritty, resilient, and solution-oriented - with a passion for problem-solving.
