ELV/ ICT Project Manager (225-922)

The ELV/ICT Project Manager is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and closing of projects in the fields of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). The position involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. As an ELV/ICT Project Manager, you will manage the project life cycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of ICT systems, including security, cabling, and networking, in addition to knowledge of ELV systems like CCTV, public address systems, and fire alarm systems. This role requires excellent leadership qualities and the ability to foster productive relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and projects are aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans to track progress and ensure successful project completion.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget constraints.
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques for assessment.
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
• Perform risk management analysis to minimize potential project risks effectively.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors for project collaboration.
• Delegate project tasks based on individual team members’ strengths and skill sets.
• Oversee the installation and testing of ELV and ICT systems to verify compliance with specifications.
• Conduct regular meetings and updates with the project team to ensure alignment and focus.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field required.
• Proven working experience as a project manager in the ELV and ICT field.
• Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in network technologies.
• Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills to manage project expectations.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software tools.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification highly preferred.
• Ability to adapt and respond promptly to project challenges and changing environments.
• Understanding of safety standards and regulations relevant to ELV and ICT systems.
