Job Description

The Regional Key Accounts Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by managing and developing relationships with key accounts within a specific region. This position requires a strategic thinker who can identify business opportunities and foster strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will understand customer needs, be proactive in addressing potential challenges, and consistently achieve sales targets. As an essential part of the sales team, the Regional Key Accounts Manager will negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role is crucial for establishing strong market presence and competitive advantage through effective account management and strategic planning.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the designated region.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the assigned territory.
  • Manage and lead complex negotiations to secure advantageous agreements for the company.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
  • Create and implement strategic plans that align with the company’s business objectives.
  • Regularly analyze sales data to measure effectiveness and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Anticipate market trends to proactively address customer needs and remain competitive.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for the promotion of services to enhance regional visibility.
  • Provide regular reports on account activities, sales figures, and market conditions.
  • Work with the customer service department to address any client issues promptly.
  • Evaluate and respond to changing market dynamics to safeguard market share.
  • Guide and mentor junior sales staff to improve their performance and skill sets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in account management or sales roles.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and developing new business.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to handle high-stakes negotiations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and maintain relationships.
