Job Description

As a Purchase Executive, you will play a crucial role in the procurement process within the organization. You will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring the necessary goods and services required for company operations. This includes negotiating purchase terms, pricing, and agreements with suppliers to ensure the best terms and quality of goods. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and inventory of purchased items, ensuring timely delivery, and managing vendor relationships effectively. Your keen attention to detail and strong negotiation skills will be pivotal in ensuring the organization's procurement processes run smoothly. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions that meet those needs efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors to meet company needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships for optimal results.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all goods and services to prevent operational delays.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand and fulfill procurement requirements.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
  • Resolve any issues related to supply discrepancies or order fulfillment promptly.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and product innovations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
  • Analyze and forecast trends to keep procurement processes up-to-date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on securing beneficial terms.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market and supplier data accurately.
