Job Description

The Junior Social Media Executive plays a critical role in the implementation of an organization's social media strategy, supporting its execution to drive engagement, brand awareness, and traffic. This position involves creating content, interacting with users, and analyzing data to enhance and grow the presence of the brand on various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be creative, tech-savvy, and have a passion for digital communication. You will work closely with other team members to align with the overall marketing and communications goals, ensuring consistency in voice and building a strong community online. The role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and is able to adapt quickly to trends and changes in the social media landscape.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Create, curate, and manage published content across various social media channels.
  • Engage with brands' audiences through social media channels to build a vibrant online community.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a social way while maintaining the brand voice.
  • Analyze the performance of social media content and provide insights for optimization.
  • Coordinate with marketing, PR, and other teams to understand communications needs.
  • Track and report on social media advertising metrics and adjust tactics as necessary.
  • Identify and report social media trends that can be leveraged in campaigns.
  • Assist in managing social media calendar across platforms to ensure consistent posting.
  • Monitor social media conversations and provide real-time feedback and responses when needed.
  • Support the creation and editing of video content to complement social media strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes and advancements in social media platforms and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
  • Excellent understanding and proven track record of social media platforms and tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage an online audience effectively.
  • Adept at using analytics tools to track performance and discover insights.
  • Strong creative thinking and content conception abilities with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of graphic design principles for social media content creation is a plus.
