Job Description

As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you will be the frontline ambassador of our brand, ensuring that every customer has an exceptional shopping experience. You will engage with customers, assist them in finding the products they are looking for, and provide information about our services and promotions. Your role is critical in building strong customer relationships, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth running of store operations. You’ll handle customer inquiries, resolve any issues with a friendly and professional demeanor, and work collaboratively with your team to support daily tasks. Your efforts will drive sales and create an inviting shopping environment for our valued customers.


Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
  • Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to customers effectively.
  • Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using a point-of-sale system.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a calm and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment in accordance with store policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales targets and objectives.
  • Assist in inventory management, including restocking and product recalls.
  • Provide product recommendations and personalized service to enhance the customer experience.
  • Support in organizing and participating in store events and promotions.
  • Report any operational issues or safety hazards to store management promptly.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure consistent customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
  • Ability to handle customer complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling physical tasks as needed.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other retail technology tools.
