Responsibilities

• Design and plan road constructions ensuring alignment with project specifications.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Prepare detailed project reports and documentation for stakeholders and management.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government representatives on project execution.
• Evaluate and select appropriate construction materials and technologies for road projects.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and construction teams.
• Coordinate and liaise with environmental specialists to align projects with compliance requirements.

• Utilize software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D for project design and drafting tasks.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate issues in road engineering projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in road construction or transportation projects.
• Proficient in using civil engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of road design principles, construction methods, and regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not mandatory.
